Welcome to the website for the San Diego Family Justice Center’s Camp HOPE program. We are excited to offering camping and mentoring experiences to children who have witnessed family violence including many children who have been abused physically, sexually, and emotionally. Camp HOPE is an opportunity for children to regain their childhood, find hope and healing, and spend time with other children who have overcome similar obstacles and trauma. We need your help to make Camp HOPE a success. We need your donations, your volunteer support, and your help spreading the word about this special opportunity for children have experienced terrible abuse and trauma.
In 2012, Camp HOPE will operate three special camps for children in partnership with the YMCA of San Diego County. Children will have the opportunity get into the mountains and enjoy laughter, fellowship, and fun through arts, music, athletics, outdoor adventures, and interaction with volunteer counselors and mentors. Will you sponsor a child? Can you give more? Enough to pay for an entire camping session? Enough to help us build additional facilities for Camp HOPE?
Please HELP us. We can change the world for so many children by providing counseling, support, and mentoring through a the special experience of Camp HOPE.
